The annual Nassau
County Democratic Party convention is coming up and you are
invited to be there as a positive presence and reminder that critical
legislation regarding our rights is pending in the NYS Legislature. Our
County Chair, Jay Jacobs, welcomes us.
Several of us
attended the Suffolk County convention last night, and what an uplifting
experience it was. A group of 40-50
supporters were greeted by the County Chairman, Rich Schaffer, and County
Executive, Steve Levy. It was not unusual to see committee members
entering or leaving giving us a thumbs up or stopping
to say of few words of support.
